The show moves the setting to the present day. Reference: Graham Norton and guests: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024). He has a vulnerability that makes me want to dig deeper into the characters.
Here, as a cold-blooded assassin, it’s a drag, IMHO, but it makes sense that she’s “hiding in plain sight”. As others have pointed out, the female lead simply ruined it for me. It’s a mystery to me why she keeps getting female villain roles.
There are so many talented actors to choose from. I didn’t think much of her in Captain Marvel, even less liked her wearing the number 007 and now she just ruins scenes every time she appears. I’ll see the series through to the end, but…
it’s so sad that this series won’t be rewatched. I don’t know how the story will turn out yet, but I hope they replace Bianca’s character somehow.
