A grief therapist begins telling his clients exactly what he thinks

When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel responded that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type”: willing to audition for people like Ford. Segel told Goldstein they should at least pitch it to Ford first, thinking he’d reject it right away, but at least other people would find out that the project had been pitched to Harrison Ford, sparking interest from other notable actors.
Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but he was thrilled nonetheless. Featured on WatchMojo: The 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023). Now, two episodes in, the show is showing promise, the chemistry between the characters is infectious and sometimes even oddly… comforting in a way that most shows aren’t, only reminding you of the show’s community with these elements.
. I’m not sure if this accurately represents how the therapist deals with issues, but it certainly gives Jason Segel a run for his money. Rhodes, Jason’s boss and mentor. I wasn’t sure how his character would work in the show, but Rhoda’s antisocial resemblance definitely plays into the character Ford encounters.
Quite well, considering the more anxious elements of his Han Solo character in Star Wars, it fits the show perfectly. A little too endearing, Sean (Luke Tenney) plays the son that Jimmy (Segel) gets to know as he deals with his own family issues with his daughter, Alice (Lucita Maxwell)… The scene here feels so alive and the possibilities can maybe (?) be endless because I see Jimmy moving towards these things. By the way, the intro theme for this show is so good that I didn’t even skip it while watching episode 2…
