Dexter, forensic expert by day, serial killer with a touch of rough justice by night

Dexter is creating a believable and very detailed portrait of a, shall we say, troubled sociopath. One of my favorite parts of the show is the emotions that normal people display, forcing Dexter to imitate them. Good laugh when the emotions Dexter fakes become real, and he is scared to death, as in his relationship with his “girlfriend” Rita, mother of two and victim of her abusive ex-boyfriend.

Emotional story, lots of detail and one of the best opening sequences ever

I also liked Jennifer Carpenter’s acting as Dexter’s sister, Debra, she adds a nice touch of color to the show, without falling into cliché.
